This presentation describes goals and objectives of the New Construction Program (NCP), scheduled for launch in early 2025. As proposed, energy efficiency will be combined into a single program for new construction and major renovation projects. The program is designed to simplify the customer experience and application process for all new construction buildings, with a long-term goal of transforming the new construction market in New Jersey to one in which most new buildings will have “net zero” energy usage. This was an Energy Efficiency Stakeholder Meeting presentation.
