Stuart, Ph.D., Grid Modernization Research Scientist at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU), provides an overview of the modern grid, its value and benefits, how it is achieved, relevant NJBPU initiatives, proactive planning, proactive load forecasting, and distributed energy resources aggregation and virtual power plants.
