Program Partners Online Training

Welcome to the Online Training section of the Clean Energy Learning Center. Here you will find a suite of online course offerings available for Program Partners.

This course will provide a complete walk-through of the Pay for Performance Existing Buildings program, which includes the most recent updates to the program from previous iterations.
Note: This training is only available for approved Program Partners of the Pay for Performance program.

The training begins with a high-level overview of the how the program works, and takes a look at the deliverables that are expected of Program Partners, including the development of the Energy Reduction Plan. The training then delves into the technical requirements of the program by providing a look at building energy modeling requirements, installation requirements, and post-construction benchmarking. Partners are also required to take and pass two assessments against the training material to complete the course.

Note: This training is only available for approved Program Partners of the Pay for Performance program.

This course will provide a complete walk through of the Pay for Performance New Construction program, which includes the most recent updates to the Program from previous iterations. This training is only available to approved Program Partners of the Pay for Performance Program. The course will provide a thorough overview of each section of the Program Guidelines. It will begin with a brief introduction to Pay for Performance, and it will provide an overview of the Program Guidelines and General Requirements of the Program. It will cover the development of the Proposed Energy Reduction Plan, Building Simulation requirements, and the Installation/As-Built Energy Reduction Plan. The training will conclude with lessons covering the Commissioning process, Post-Construction Performance Evaluation, and it will wrap up with Next Steps for Program Partners as they begin participating in P4P New Construction

This course is a supplemental 1 hour training to the Pay for Performance New Construction Training. It takes a closer look at ASHRAE 90.1-2013 Mandatory Requirements, ASHRAE 90.1-2013 Appendix G with BM Package Accepted, as well as ASHRAE Building Energy Quotient compliance path and the ERP Template.

This course will provide a complete walk-through of the Direct Install program, which includes the most recent updates to the program from previous iterations. This training is only available for approved Program Partners of the Direct Install program. The training begins with a high-level overview of how the program works, and then takes a step by step view of the work process as well as program codes of conduct, budget management and program reporting requirements. The training then provides an overview of the Energy Assessment Tool or EAT, including a review of all the major input categories. The training wraps up with best practices and lessons learned from program staff and experienced program partners. After viewing the course content, partners are required to take and pass an assessment on the training material.
